What is with the ads on the site?
Here is the deal with the ads. We do not like them any more than you do, but we are not owned by any deep-pocketed private equity firms or parent companies and we never will be. We rely on simple advertising to keep our independent site running. Our disclosure page explains exactly how the money works.

Where are your park guides?
All in one place, at the national parks hub. The guides are built on our own fieldwork. No recycled press releases, no AI-generated content, no secondhand advice.
Do you have national forest guides?
We do, and we are building more. Start at the national forests page, or jump straight to Black Hills, Ocala, Fishlake, or our Manti-La Sal film.
Can you help me plan a road trip?

National parks and national forests films are our bread and butter. Watch them all on our films page or on our YouTube channel.
Can I license your footage or photography?
Yes. Our films and photography are available for licensing, and we are happy to talk to reporters about public lands. Email ask@morethanjustparks.com with the specific footage or image you are after, where it will run, and your deadline.
