The situation
The largest unfenced landscape in the Lower 48, a rolling sagebrush ocean where pronghorn make the longest land migration in the Western Hemisphere. No formal protection. The BLM is leasing it for oil and gas at a pace that could sever migration corridors these animals have used for 6,000 years.
