Tucked in the Garnet Range between Ovando and Lincoln, Hoodoo Mountain is 11,380 acres of rugged BLM land that has been protected as a wilderness study area for nearly half a century. Senator Daines’ Montana Sportsmen Conservation Act would strip that status and return it to general management, despite overwhelming public opposition to releasing Montana’s WSAs.
