The origin
American Wild Horse Conservation says it leads coordinated efforts to defend wild horses and burros “through law, science, and public action,” in courtrooms, on public lands and in communities across the country. It works for humane, science-based conservation that keeps the animals wild and free on the range. Its legal name is American Wild Horse Preservation Campaign.
How they run
We don’t hold a detailed federal filing for this group. Groups this size often file the short form or run below the IRS reporting line, so there’s no budget or crew to show here, and that’s no knock: some of the sharpest local defense in the country runs this way.
