By accessing or using the Public Lands Intelligence Platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms, and "you" refers to both you individually and the organization.
Public Lands Intelligence is a conservation intelligence platform that aggregates, cross-references, and presents public federal data for conservation professionals, researchers, journalists, and advocacy organizations. The Service includes tools for monitoring active fires, tracking legislation and congressional votes, analyzing extraction permits on public lands, reviewing litigation outcomes, mapping political influence through campaign finance data, monitoring federal personnel appointments, and other public lands intelligence.
The Service is designed to provide research-grade intelligence by connecting data across federal agencies. It does not replace professional legal, financial, or regulatory counsel.
Data displayed on this platform is sourced from public federal databases including but not limited to: the Federal Election Commission (FEC), Congress.gov, the Federal Register, Bureau of Land Management (BLM), U.S. Forest Service (USFS), Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM), Office of Natural Resources Revenue (ONRR), CourtListener, NIFC/IRWIN, InciWeb, NASA FIRMS, AirNow, Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA), Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), National Park Service Visitor Spending Effects (VSE) data, USGS Protected Areas Database (PAD-US), Senate Office of Public Records (SOPR/LDA.gov) lobbying disclosures, and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL).
While we strive for accuracy and timeliness, we do not guarantee the completeness, correctness, or currency of all data. Federal agencies may update, revise, or correct their data at any time. This platform does not provide legal advice. Users should independently verify all data against primary sources before relying on it for legal, regulatory, policy, or financial decisions.
Some data points include AI-generated summaries or editorial analysis. These are clearly labeled and should be treated as supplementary context, not authoritative records.
You must create an account to access the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
Account access is limited to the number of seats included in your subscription plan. Sharing login credentials across users not covered by your plan is prohibited. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these provisions.
The Service is offered under subscription plans with monthly or annual billing. All plans include a 14-day free trial. Payments are processed by Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

The platform design, editorial analysis, scoring methodologies (including congressional scorecards, influence metrics, and threat assessments), AI-generated summaries, cross-tool intelligence connections, and data visualizations are proprietary to More Than Just Parks, LLC. These constitute original works of authorship and trade secrets.
Underlying public federal data remains in the public domain. You may reference specific data points from the platform with proper attribution ("Source: Public Lands Intelligence") but may not reproduce, replicate, or redistribute the editorial layer, scoring systems, cross-tool connections, or analytical frameworks.
Authenticated users may export limited datasets in CSV format for personal or organizational research use. Exported data may not be redistributed, resold, or used to build competing products or services. Bulk exports exclude proprietary editorial fields including AI summaries, significance scores, and cross-tool connection metadata. All exports include MTJP attribution branding.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of any data, analysis, or content provided through the Service.
Public Air Quality, Wildfire, and Recreation Tools.
The public-facing air quality map, wildfire tracker, "should I go" verdicts, alerts, and related features (the "Public Tools") are provided for general informational purposes only. They aggregate third-party data from sources including the U.S. EPA (AirNow), NOAA, NASA (FIRMS), and the National Interagency Fire Center (IRWIN/WFIGS). This data may be delayed, estimated, incomplete, inaccurate, or unavailable, and conditions on the ground, including air quality, fire behavior, smoke, weather, and closures, can change rapidly and without notice.
THE PUBLIC TOOLS ARE NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR OFFICIAL AIR QUALITY ALERTS, FIRE OR EVACUATION ORDERS, LAND MANAGER OR AGENCY CLOSURES, WEATHER FORECASTS, MEDICAL ADVICE, OR EMERGENCY SERVICES. They are not designed or intended for use in any emergency, life-safety, evacuation, navigation, medical, or other situation where inaccurate, delayed, or incomplete information could lead to death, personal injury, or property damage. Do not rely on the Public Tools for any such purpose. Always verify conditions with the managing agency, the National Weather Service, EPA AirNow, local authorities, and on-site rangers before making any travel, recreation, health, or safety decision, and follow all official orders and closures. In an emergency, call 911.
You acknowledge that outdoor recreation on public lands carries inherent risks, that you are solely responsible for your own decisions and safety and those of anyone in your party, and that you assume all risks associated with your use of the Public Tools and any activity you undertake. To the fullest extent permitted by law, More Than Just Parks, LLC disclaims all liability for any death, personal injury, illness, property damage, or other loss arising from or related to your use of, or reliance on, the Public Tools.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless More Than Just Parks, LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your reliance on data obtained through the Service for legal, regulatory, or policy decisions; or (d) your violation of any applicable law or regulation.
IN NO EVENT SHALL MORE THAN JUST PARKS, LLC BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUE, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
Our total aggregate liability for all claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, upon notice to you. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may request export of your account data within 30 days of termination. Sections 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 13 survive termination.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Georgia, and you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in those courts.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-platform notification at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and cancel your subscription.
