The National Park Service and Washington DC are jointly preparing an Environmental Impact Statement for redeveloping the RFK Memorial Stadium campus along the Anacostia River. The project would bring commercial and residential development, parks, open space, and new transportation infrastructure to the site. This affects NPS-managed public land in DC and could reshape public access and land use along the Anacostia River corridor.
