Support Endangered Species

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has received applications for permits to conduct scientific research and conservation activities involving endangered and threatened species under the Endangered Species Act. These permits would allow researchers and organizations to work with protected species in ways that would otherwise be prohibited by law. The public, along with local, state, tribal, and federal agencies, have 30 days from publication to submit written comments before any permits are issued.

We, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, have received applications for permits to conduct scientific research to promote conservation or other activities intended to enhance the propagation or survival of endangered and threatened species under the Endangered Species Act (Act). We invite the public and local, State, Tribal, and Federal agencies to provide written data, views, or arguments with respect to any application noticed within 30 days following the publication of this notice.
