NOAA's announcing it'll prepare a supplemental Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement (PEIS) under NEPA for its Coral Reef Conservation Program, which funds monitoring, research, and restoration activities across U.S. coral reef regions. The supplemental review will assess environmental impacts from new and expanded coral reef conservation and restoration methods the program plans to conduct.
