MTJP Strike Team

An expert, a camera and a trip lead on the ground inside the window.

The Corps is volunteers. The Strike Team is a deployment: the one discipline a fight turns on, retained; evidentiary and editorial imaging by people who do this for a living; and a trip lead who knows the country and holds the permits. It produces what a volunteer cannot: a field report counsel can use, an expert’s signed declaration, imagery with a chain-of-custody log, GIS files, and a comment exhibit ready to file.

The expert

A hydrologist for a groundwater claim, a forester for old growth, a wildlife biologist for occupied habitat, an archaeologist for a “no cultural resources” survey, a range scientist for grazing. From a standing bench by discipline and region.

The imaging lead

Two things at once: scaled, located, timestamped, unedited originals with a log, and the story. The same people who make More Than Just Parks’ films.

The trip lead

Logistics, permits, access, safety. A guide who knows the units and already holds the permits.

How it is engaged

If your organization intends to litigate, your counsel retains the expert directly so the work is privileged until it is filed; MTJP supplies the team, the logistics and the imaging under a services agreement. When no litigation is planned, MTJP can retain the expert. Your lawyer decides which, every time, and the form below asks it first.

The Strike Team is a service, and the newsroom is not. Any paid deployment is disclosed in anything MTJP publishes about that fight, and the newsroom’s decision to publish is its own.

Windows under ten days are possible and cost more. A seasonal retainer buys deployment days with a 72-hour readiness promise.

It decides who retains the expert. If you litigate, your counsel does, so the work stays privileged until it is filed.
