Nothing is open on this one today. It is a place the Corps keeps an eye on, so we see the paperwork the day it lands.
Go to Jordan Creek where a road or trail crosses it and shoot the water itself: how clear it runs, the gravel bottom, and any trout or trout holding in the pools. Same spot, same angle, each visit.
The Owyhee Canyonlands of southwest Idaho hold some of the wildest, most remote public land in the Lower 48, drained by clear tributaries of the Owyhee River. Integra Resources has proposed the DeLamar open-pit, cyanide heap-leach gold and silver mine on about 6,708 acres of BLM land near Jordan Creek, an Owyhee River tributary.
Nobody is asking you to go here today. We watch this place so that the day a decision opens on it, the people who already know it hear the same week. If you are out here anyway, what you photograph now is worth more later than anything taken after the paperwork lands.
More Than Just Parks doesn’t direct where you go or what you do. Terms.
