Nothing is open on this one today. It is a place the Corps keeps an eye on, so we see the paperwork the day it lands.
Photograph Spirit Mountain itself from open desert, a wide shot showing the whole peak and the empty ground around it with no towers, lines or new roads in frame. Date it. Do not post coordinates.
Spirit Mountain is the creation place for ten tribal nations along the lower Colorado River. Half a million acres connecting the Mojave and Sonoran deserts through critical wildlife corridors. Another tribal victory already under review, another executive order away from erasure.
Nobody is asking you to go here today. We watch this place so that the day a decision opens on it, the people who already know it hear the same week. If you are out here anyway, what you photograph now is worth more later than anything taken after the paperwork lands.
More Than Just Parks doesn’t direct where you go or what you do. Terms.
